I think it will be the announcement of a purpose built radio control race track. Since no other city in the State can manage to find a 200' x 80' plot of unused or landlocked property - it looks like Alpine isn't going to step up either. It is odd that teens get skate parks when they don't contribute taxes yet, but adults who have paid taxes for years can not get one of these.
The epic announcement will be.....Effective immediately diet coke wil no longer be sold, distributed, or allowed to be consumed in Provo. Can you imagine the wailing, gnashing of teeth, backbiting, and general all around palaver that would generate. Epic my donkey, this would make Mayor Bloomberg look like a pusillanimous little girl.

I know - it will be something that no other city in Utah will provide. How about a purpose built track for radio control cars and the adults that can afford them and have paid taxes. Since Alpine probably won't do this and no other city in Utah has done this - we have skate parks for teens that did not provide any of the tax money for them to enjoy them - why not let adults play too?
